RESHAPE 2024: Training and Protocol Development Workshop for PAR

Last November 11-15, 2024, the Training and Protocol Development Workshop for PAR was held at the Armada Hotel, Manila. The event was held in partnership with the University of the Philippines Manila - College of Arts and Sciences (UPM CAS) and the DOH - HPB. PAR Teams from the Quezon City Health Office, Parañaque City Health Office, and the Metro Manila Center for Health Development came together to take on the task of joining the growing community of PAR Practitioners in the Philippines. During the workshop, they were given comprehensive didactic teaching on the fundamental skills, techniques, and attitudes to have when engaging in Participatory Action Research by our PAR mentors from the UPM CAS Team.
