With the topic of "Participatory Action Research on a Community-led ASRH-designed Tool for Displaced Adolescents in a Barangay in Tacloban City: A Practice Paper", Dr. Gloria Fabrigas from the Tacloban City Health Office in collaboration with the HPP PAR team, Ferlie Famaloan, and Kristine Alvina, won second place in the National Health Research Forum for Action poster presentation! 

By actively engaging the community in research and decision-making processes, the project not only identified critical health concerns but also influenced local policy development. The initiative highlighted the importance of mentorship, capacity building, and sustainable interventions for long-term community impact, proving that PAR is a valuable approach for health promotion and local policy development in the country.
