Dr. Katherine Ann Reyes Joins the 9th Cohort of The Equity Initiative Fellows

We are proud to congratulate Dr. Katherine Ann Reyes, Program Lead of the Health Promotion Program (HPP), on her selection as a Fellow of The Equity Initiative for their 9th Cohort. This prestigious program brings together 30 dynamic leaders from 11 countries across Southeast Asia and China, representing diverse fields such as public health, climate justice, disability rights, education, urban development, migrant and labor rights, digital health, and social innovation. Dr. Reyes’s acceptance into The Equity Initiative Fellowship reaffirms her commitment to enabling equitable health policies, settings and environments, and behaviors. With an emphasis in health promotion, she has been instrumental in shaping community-driven initiatives, evidence-informed policies, and capacity-building efforts to advance health equity in the Philippines and beyond. This year’s The Equity Initiative Fellows will embark on their Induction Year in Vietnam, where they will engage in a transformative journey of learning, collaboration, and impact. The fellowship provides an opportunity for Dr. Reyes to further strengthen her leadership and expand HPP’s network with like-minded changemakers working towards sustainable, equitable, and inclusive solutions for health and social justice.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to bridging gaps in healthcare access and promoting well-being for all.
